How to verify an Oregon plumbing provider

Know who will do the work, check the relevant qualifications, and agree on the job before it starts.

Get the provider's actual identity

Ask for the business name and relevant license details. Oregon Plumbing Connect is a service-connection website, not the plumbing contractor performing the job. A connection request doesn't replace checking the provider you may hire.

Use the official resources

Oregon's Building Codes Division explains the licensing needed for plumbing contractor work, including relevant BCD and CCB requirements. Use the official links below to check the business and the work involved. Ask about any specialist qualifications when the job includes gas, backflow testing, or other equipment.

Make the agreement specific

Ask about the assessment charge, proposed repair, materials or equipment, exclusions, and how changes will be approved. Confirm timing directly with the provider. Keep the written scope and completion records; a phone conversation or web request alone does not book or authorize the work.
