Look at the pattern
Write down which fixtures are affected, how quickly the problem returns, and what was done during previous visits. One slow sink can be a different job from a bathroom and laundry backing up together. Those details help a provider decide where to start without making you guess the cause.
Ask what clearing actually fixed
Removing an obstruction may restore flow without repairing a defect that catches debris. Ask what was removed, which section was cleared, and whether the provider noticed or suspects damage. Keep that record so another visit doesn't have to begin with the same unanswered questions.
Use findings to choose the next step
Ask whether camera work or another check would resolve an important uncertainty. If a repair is proposed, request the available evidence and a clear description of the affected section. Don't assume a more aggressive cleaning method can fix a cracked, displaced, or collapsed pipe.
